Ollamani reported revenues from Club de Fútbol América, Estadio Azteca and the promotion of sports shows and special events in Mexico.

Together, all of these financial revenues are part of the company’s Soccer segment.

Previously, these businesses were owned directly by Grupo Televisa.

Revenues from Ollamani’s Soccer segment amounted to Ps. 1,033.9 million and Ps. 1,647.8 million and represented 53.8% and 52.6% of the company’s consolidated revenues for the three and five months ended June 30, 2024, respectively. 

In more detail, the Soccer segment’s revenues correspond mainly to advertising and sponsorship revenues, as well as box office and ticket sales. 

The bottom line: Soccer segment income amounted to Ps. 174.5 million and Ps. 295.1 million for the three and five months ended June 30, 2024, respectively.

Ollamani began trading on the Mexican Stock Exchange on February 20, 2024.

Revenues from Club de Fútbol América

Ollamani is the owner of Club América. This is a professional soccer team that competes in the first division of the Mexican league, known as Liga BBVA MX. It also owns the women’s team that participates in Liga MX Femenil.

The men’s team plays at the Azteca Stadium. The women’s team plays most of its matches at the Club de Fútbol América facilities. This creates an attractive environment for fans.

Club América is one of the most popular teams in Mexico and the United States. It has a large following, not only in these countries, but also in other nations. This popularity offers opportunities to promote the club’s sponsors and commercial partners.

According to Ollamani, it is estimated that Club América has more than 30 million fans in Mexico. In addition, it has more than 10 million fans in the United States.
