The top exporters of LCD panels to the United States in 2024 were Japan, Vietnam, France, Canada, China and Mexico.
From January through November 2024, U.S. imports of these products were $5.655 billion, up 39.8% year-over-year, according to Commerce Department data.

LCD panels are one of the most important inputs for the production of LCD televisions.
According to Element Electronics, there is no LCD panel production in the United States and most of the world’s LCD panel production takes place in China.
Below are the top exporters of this product to the United States in the first 11 months of 2024, in millions of dollars and year-over-year growth rates:
- Japan: 2,150 (+51.2 percent).
- Vietnam: 1,185 (+26.1 percent).
- France: 762 (+112.5 percent).
- Canada: 731 (472.7 percent).
- China: 362 (-32.1 percent).
- Mexico: 162 (-11.5 percent).
Previously, U.S. imports of LCD panels from around the world fell from $7.428 billion in all of 2022 to $4.706 billion in all of 2023.
