The notified operation is part of a global process of restructuring and integration of various companies in Japan, United States and Mexico, which belong to the economic interest group ultimately controlled by Denso Corp, with the purpose of combining their technology divisions dedicated to the development and production of engines for the automotive industry.
In Mexico, the operation involves the acquisition, by Denso, of certain shares representing the capital stock of ASMO, which would be sold by Denso Corp and Denso America.
