Los Filos has begun a phased restart and is working towards full operations in December.

Workers will resume their duties only after the Covid-19 test is negative.

«Representatives from Los Filos and Equinox Gold have met regularly with community leaders to discuss their concerns,» the company said in a statement.

With the blockade removed, good faith negotiations will continue to reach a final agreement.
