The real estate portal Properties.com has compiled a list of the states that have the most medical services and how much it costs to live in them.
Derived from the health emergency, in CDMX there is a saturation of hospitals to care for patients with coronavirus (COVID19).
They are Jalisco, Veracruz, Michoacán, Puebla and Guanajuato. In them, apart from a wide offer in health services, there are houses for sale in the range of 1.4 and 2.6 million pesos. As for apartments for sale, there are from 968,207 pesos to 3.5 million pesos.
Leonardo González, Real Estate analyst at Propiedades.com, explains that medical services are an important factor when selecting a place of residence. Especially in the case of the elderly or families with young children.

To determine how many health services there are in Mexico, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) considers outpatient and related medical services. Also hospitals, health care and social care residences.
Jalisco
According to DENUE, in Jalisco there are 16,137 health and social assistance services, with Guadalajara — state capital — leading the way with 5,269. They are followed by Zapopan, Puerto Vallarta, San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga and Tepatitlán de Morelos.
Data from the Values section of Properties.com report that living in the state of Jalisco has an average price of 2.5 million pesos if you buy a house. And 13,652 pesos a month if you rent it. If you prefer an apartment, the average cost of one for sale is 3.5 million pesos and for rent 15,740 pesos per month.
Veracruz
The second state with the most health and social assistance services is Veracruz. In total there are 12,983. The cities with the most places of this type are Xalapa, Veracruz (port), Coatzacoalcos, Córdoba and Poza Rica. Altogether they have 5,091.
A house for sale in the state has an average cost of 1.7 million pesos and rented of 9,837 pesos. If it is an apartment, the average price of one for sale is 1.7 million pesos and for rent it is 7,870 pesos per month.
Michoacán
In Michoacán there are a total of 12,302 health and social assistance services. This type of place is concentrated in Morelia, the state capital, since there are 3,325. They are followed by Uruapan (1,073), Zamora (718), Ciudad Hidalgo (426) and La Piedad (414).
If you want to live in Michoacán you should know that a house for sale has an average price of 1.4 million pesos and for rent of 9,651 pesos per month. An apartment for sale costs 968,207 pesos and one rented 5,747 pesos.
Puebla
In Puebla there are 12,210 medical services. These are concentrated in the cities of Puebla (capital), Tehuacán, San Martín Texmelucan, Atlixco and San Pedro Cholula. In the five there are 6,496 establishments.
Propiedades.com mentions that a house for sale in the state has an average price of 2.6 million pesos and rented of 13,772 pesos per month. The price of an apartment for sale is 2.1 million pesos and 11,805 pesos per month for rent.
Guanajuato
With a total of 11,892 health and social assistance services, the state of Guanajuato is in fifth place. Here the cities where medical services predominate are León, Celaya, Irapuato, Salamanca and Acámbaro. In them there are a total of 7,209.
A house for sale in Guanajuato has an average price of 2.5 million pesos and rented of 10,134 pesos per month. An apartment for sale has an average price of 1.9 million pesos and rents of 8,854 pesos per month.
