In an agreement published by the Ministry of Health in the Official Gazette of the Federation, the activities carried out by companies and businesses aimed at satisfying the demand for goods and services related to the manufacture, sale and distribution of supplies and articles were classified as essential. stationery and educational material.

Stationers have been among the businesses hardest hit by the confinement forced by the pandemic, which has led millions of students to remain at home.

In addition, the government classified as essential activities those related to uniforms, backpacks and other school supplies; electronic computing and data processing devices such as tablets, computers and calculators; as well as the activities developed by publishers and bookstores, are considered essential activities.

The industrial and commercial activities mentioned in the previous numeral will be considered essential as of the entry into force of this Agreement, the date on which they can start work according to the provisions of the Specific Technical Guidelines for the Reopening of Economic Activities published in the Official Gazette of the Federation from May 29, 2020, and until December 31, 2020.

The agreement will enter into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
