Traxion reported consolidated revenues of 3,279 million pesos in the second quarter, a growth of 6.8% year-on-year.
Likewise, the company registered a 112.5% increase in net profit, as well as an advance of 210 million pesos in revenues, which represents 6.8%, compared to the second quarter of last year.
Furthermore, consolidated operating profit increased 54.6%, while EBITDA climbed 15.9% and shows a margin of 22.8%, an expansion of 180 basis points.
In technology and innovation, during the quarter, Traxion launched two internally developed mobility applications.
The first is TRAXI, a people mobility application. Through it, users consult pre-established transport routes, allowing them to travel safer and more comfortable to their destinations. In a first stage, this application was launched to exclusively transport medical personnel at no cost.
The second is TRAXPORTA, a cargo services platform that connects customers with transport companies, which generates a less asset-intensive business supported by digitization.
Traxión
The company is the leader in transportation and logistics in Mexico. It offers comprehensive solutions through the broadest and most diverse portfolio of services in the country. The Traxión platform operates two business segments: cargo transportation and logistics services, and school and personnel transportation.
The company has seven brands in the different business niches in which it participates. It was established in 2011 and closed the second quarter of the current year with an average fleet of 8,206 drive units, 455,735 square meters of 3PL logistics warehouse space, a national presence, a portfolio of more than 1,000 clients, and more than 15,000 collaborators.
Freight Transportation and Logistic Services
This segment provides comprehensive cargo and logistics solutions throughout the production chain.
Among the services provided by the company are: dedicated cargo, consolidated cargo (LTL), intermodal cargo, refrigerated cargo, international cargo and border crossings, warehouse management, last mile logistics solutions, petrochemical transportation, moving, specialized transportation, parcel and messaging.
Traxión operates a platform of six brands: Transportadora EGOBA, Muebles y Mudanzas MYM, Grupo SID, Auto Express Frontera Norte, Autotransportes El Bisonte, and Redpack.
Traxion has one of the most modern, diverse and flexible fleets in the industry, with an average age of 4.5 years, made up of an average of 2,131 motor units, and 618 units of the last mile fleet.
School and Personal Transportation
This segment provides personnel transportation services to corporations, industrial parks and hotels, as well as student transportation to schools and universities, and tourism services to groups.
Through its subsidiary LIPU, it operates a centralized platform under dedicated contracts or spot service and the largest and most modern fleets in Mexico made up of an average of 5,457 motor units at the end of the second quarter.
