In 2024, Mexico’s economy grew 1.5% annually, according to INEGI’s estimate. Domestic demand partially offset the effects of external and weather shocks in manufacturing and the primary sector.

Private consumption increased 3.5% from January to October, driven by higher real wages, lower inflation and a consumer confidence index at record levels.

Gross fixed investment grew 4.7% in the same period, exceeding its historical average for the fourth consecutive year. Factors such as macroeconomic stability, favorable public policies and greater business confidence drove this growth.

In 2024, U.S. product exports reached US$2.065.18 billion, registering an increase of 2.3% compared to 2023.
